Terms of using our buyback & refurbishment services
The terms that apply when you sell LCDs to, or send screens for refurbishment to, Gravity Link Limited.
1. The buyback process
By sending LCDs to Gravity Link Limited, you confirm you are the lawful owner of the devices and have the right to sell them. Screens are graded and quoted on arrival; you'll be able to review the quote before it's finalised.
2. Grading & quotes
Quotes are based on the condition found during our grading process, which may differ from a self-assessed condition at the time of sending. We'll share the grading outcome before payment is released.
3. Payment
Once a quote is approved, payment is issued using the method agreed with you. Approved quotes are typically paid promptly; exact timing may vary with batch size and payment method.
4. Rejected items
Where an item doesn't meet acceptance criteria, we'll contact you to agree next steps — such as return, disposal, or recycling.
5. Refurbishment service
Our refurbishment service covers original Apple iPhone screens from the iPhone 11 to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. For a screen to qualify, touch must be fully working across the entire display — our process replaces the outer glass only, and does not repair a non-functioning touch layer or display. Cracked or shattered glass on an otherwise working screen is exactly what this service is for.
If a screen sent for refurbishment arrives with the touch or display not working, we'll contact you before proceeding — it may still be eligible under our LCD buyback instead, or we can return it to you. Refurbished screens are sent back to the address you provide, by DHL or Royal Mail.
6. Data on devices
Please remove any personal data and sign out of accounts before sending a device. We are not responsible for data left on devices we receive, and cannot guarantee its recovery.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in handling and testing every LCD, but we don't accept liability for loss or damage that occurs in transit before a device reaches our facility.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown on this page is the one currently in effect.
